Project Description:

Last summer, I was able to compile over 200 articles from countries around the world that related to women’s rights violations (such as female infanticide, bride kidnapping, and female genital mutilation). This summer, I have used this compilation to begin organizing and writing my own synthesized accounts of these practices. The sections contain up to date information about where, why, and how the crimes are committed, and ways to end the gender based oppression and persecution. Samplings of the written work can be viewed, upon request.
