Engineering Director Goals

Represent and promote engineering at Union.

• Coordinate engineering admissions events in collaboration with engineering departments and programs

• Provide information to prospective students and parents

• Support engineering programs in selecting and presenting alumni awards

• Support engineering programs in surveying alumni for assessment purposes

• Support College Relations in their communications and stewardship efforts with engineering alumni

• Represent Union engineering at major conferences and with engineering leadership groups

• Attend and report on Engineering Deans Institute, ASEE annual conference or Frontiers of Education conference (two per year)

• Respond to external queries from other colleges and universities, local industry and other organizations

• Manage Symposium on Engineering and Liberal Education

Administrative support for engineering.

• Support gathering and maintaining following data to support department planning and assessments

• Review data sent by Institutional Studies to ASEE Engineering Profiles national database

• Maintain engineering web page
