Assistant Professor of Renaissance Literature
(Tenure Track)
Assistant Professor, Union College. Seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Renaissance literature with a research focus and teaching interests in early Shakespeare and 16th and early 17th century poetry. We would welcome candidates with an interest in historical or other interdisciplinary approaches. Ph.D. required by fall, 2010. Applicants must be committed to both excellent teaching and publication. 2-2-2 load in trimester system. Courses to include classes in Shakespeare, Renaissance literature and culture, the college's introductory course for first year students, and the department’s introduction to fiction or poetry.
