Summary

Union College is looking for a professional fundraiser reporting to the Director of Major Gifts in the Office of College Relations. He/she will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a targeted portfolio of priority College prospects in concert with the College's strategic priorities and objectives. This gift officer will also work closely with other departments within the Office of College Relations including Planned Giving, Donor Relations, Corporate & Foundation Relations, and Annual Giving as well as Alumni Affairs, Communications and other External Affairs departments throughout the College.
 


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years successful fundraising experience, preferably in higher education.  Must be creative, self-motivated, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, handle multiple responsibilities, and have strong organizational and communication skills.
