Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)
IPEDS is the core postsecondary education data collection program for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Data collected include enrollments, program completions, graduation rates, faculty, staff, finances, institutional prices, and student financial aid. These data are available at the NCES website.
The University & College Accountability Network (U-CAN)
U-CAN, a National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) consumer-information initiative, is designed to give students and their families concise, Web-based consumer-friendly information on the nation's nonprofit, private colleges and universities. Consumers are also able to search institutions by a wide array of variables, including tuition, debt at graduation, number of students, graduation rate, city, state, distance from home, affiliation, and more. Union's U-CAN profile is available at the U-CAN website.
