The LGBTQ Community at Union College

Wikoff Gallery, Nott Memorial
May 12, 2011 - June 12, 2011

Union College is hosting their third annual LGBTQ exhibition on display now through Sunday, June 12 in the Nott Memorial. The exhibition provides an opportunity for the Union community – including students, faculty and alumni – to share their take on issues surrounding the LGBTQ community with the community at large.

Sponsored by Schaffer Library, Mandeville Gallery and UNITAS, It Gets Better: The LGBTQ Community at Union College was first organized by members of Union’s Ally organization. The Allies are a group of faculty and staff on campus who work to raise awareness and provide support for the LGBTQ community.

Artists Include: Martin Benjamin, Professor of Visual Arts; Bui-Duy Thanh-Mai, class of 2011; Caitlin Legere, class of 2004; Li Lang, class of 2011; Amanda Purner, class of 2011; Frank Rapant, Photography Lab Technician; Patty Richardson, Campus Safety Officer and Hilary Zelson, class of 2011
