This exhibition was curated by Kara Jefts, Exhibitions Assistant for the Mandeville Gallery, in response to the work of Union students from the 2007 fall term Digital Arts class. In this class, taught by Assistant Professor of Visual Art, Fernando Orellana, students learned about Digital Art as an artistic medium currently blossoming as the avant-garde in the world of contemporary art. The work on display reflects different techniques and themes that highlight the medium. The artwork is accompanied by each student’s original definition of Digital Art. clockwise from top: Sarah Jacobson, Untitled; Kathrin Burschyk, Untitled Digiscape; Rob Shirley, Rabbit IED | ||
