The work in Optical Union represents a cross-section of select final portfolios from the Photography 3 class during spring term, 2008. Taught by Professor Martin Benjamin, this highest level photography class requires each student to develop a cohesive series of photographs in order to create a final portfolio. With the focus of each student’s portfolio ranging in subject and style – from documentary images to portraits to abstractions – the integrity of the work by these seven students is revealed through the quality of the photographs included in this exhibition. | ||
