Sustainability Resources
It’s not surprising that Union, with its tradition of innovation, continues to launch new programs and solutions with an eye toward greater sustainability. Union sustainability projects have been spurred on by sources ranging from grassroots student campaigns (which created the very successful U Recycle) to a pledge in the Strategic Plan to limit the College’s use of consumable resources.
There’s lots more – ongoing research by faculty members and students, speakers forums, presidential “green grants,” the recycling of student furniture at term’s end, called Donation Day.
