The packet contains the following information: Joint Letter of Welcome from the College's CIO and Director of Academic Computing Personalized Coversheet containing your username and initial password Application for Computer Account (AFCA) and Responsible Use Policy Information on how to change your password through the web. Documentation on enrolling in the self-service password system Information on using UMAIL to access your Union College email. Instructions on configuring junk e-mail filter settings A copy of the Union College Email Policy explaining the College's stance on using your Union College email address/account The Telecommunications Fact Sheet If you did not receive this information, have lost it, or have any questions about it, please call ITS at 518-388-6293. Jobs @ ITS During the academic year, ITS hires a number of students to work in a variety of jobs such as hardware technician, web page support/development, student consultants and clerks. If you think you might be interested in a job with ITS, please stop by our office on the first floor of Steinmetz Hall and fill out a job application. Student-Owned Computers ITS does not provide hardware or support repair of personally owned computers. If you purchased your computer through the Union College Bookstore, you should bring it back to the Computer Sales department. Otherwise, there are a number of local companies available to you.
