Union College Web Advisory Group
The role of the Web Advisory Group is to act as a sounding board for the decisions involved in improving Union’s web presence. The Group will assist in communicating and promoting new iniatives, ongoing assessment and feedback from the campus community as well as provide leadership and direction for Union's web efforts.
Website vs. Web Presence
www.union.edu is Union College's website comprised of a variety of sub-sites with different goals and audiences. The content is managed in a Content Management System that is administered by Web Communications as part of the Office of Commnications. The content is produced from a variety of campus offices.
Union College provides a great deal of diverse content via the web that extends beyond www.union.edu including systems that are managed internally and externally. This presence is consistently used to evalutate Union's capabilities, accomplishments and relevance to visitors with vastly different needs.
