Creating a Page
The easiest way to create a new page in Cascade Server is by using the Asset Factory set up by your Administrator.

Select New from the top navigational menu.

Select the type of page you wish to create. Typically this will be "Basic Page" however some sites will incorporate other specific page types.

A new page will open that will allow you to enter your content via the WYSIWYG editor.

Your page will also require Metadata.
- Your page will also require a system name (the default is "page"). Click on the System tab and type in the desired system name. Use lowercase alphanumerics and dashes. This will determine the final URL for your new page. Note: Spaces are not web-safe, please use dashes.

A new page will be saved in the current folder by default. If you would like for it to be saved in a different folder see Moving

When you have finished entering in content, click Submit at the bottom of the page. This will trigger the, Link Check and show any internal or externa link errors. Note: External link errors may still be valid but if the external site is slow the CMS may interpret it as broken.
- When you have finished developing your new page and it is ready to publish remember to publish the entire directory to update your sites navigation.
