Insert an Image
Note: This docment does not pertain to slideshows.
Note: Remember - most images need to be resized before uploading to the CMS.
Before inserting an image into your page it must first be uploaded to the CMS. Your site should include a _images folder where you can organize photos. Inserting the image into a page is done using the WYSIWYG editor.

To insert an image:
- Locate the page in which you want to insert an image, and select Edit from the action bar.
- Once in the WYSIWYG editor, click your mouse where the image will be inserted so the cursor is visible.
- Click the Insert Image (tree) icon.
- Using the image chooser, locate the image within the folder where it resides - usually _images.
- Preview the image and set its properties (see below).
- Click Insert to complete the insertion of the image into the page.
- Click Submit, in the WYSIWYG editor, to save the inserted image in the page.
Image Properties:
- Image Location - This shows the directory and name of the image.
- Alternate Text - This text will appear when a cursor rolls over an image. This is required and should be very brief ~25 characters.
- Alignment - This will align the image within the WYSIWYG editor. (NOTE: this is not located under the Advanced tab in the Image pop-up window)
- Horizontal Padding - This gives the amount of space between the left and right sides of the content area and the image. This is useful if your text is too close to your image and you wish to create a larger buffer space. Normally a value of "6" is sufficient.
- Vertical Padding - This gives the amount of space between the top and bottom sides of the content area and the image. This is useful if your text is too close to your image and you wish to create a larger buffer space. Normally a value of "6" is sufficient.
