Known Issues/Bugs

Old Design (non-Reboot sites)

Sites that remain in the old design have functions that are deprecated (no longer supported)

  • Slideshows
  • Custom pages (when in edit mode you are presented with a specific structured form to complete rather than a single editor window)

Link Error

When updating an internal link and confirming the location the link path may disappear when trying to submit the link window.  If this happens break the link first and then retry connecting it to the new location.  This problem has been demonstrated for Firefox on PC's.

Disabled WYSIWYG Functions

This should be fixed.  To correct this error we disabled one of the "formatting cleaners."  This may introduce new problems when pasting from Office or other formatted sources.  We continue to encourage everyone to paste into a text editor before pasting into the CMS.  If you encounter problems with formatting contact the CMS Help Desk .

Pasting Content

  • The "Paste from Word" button has been removed and content is automatically cleaned when pasting.
  • A togglable "Paste as Plain Text" button has been added that strips formatting from pasted content when enabled. This is similar to using a text editor like Notepage beforehand.
  • Cut/Copy/Paste buttons have been added for all browsers. Users will be warned when attempting to use them with incompatible browsers. For Firefox, it will even tell you how you can tweak Firefox to get the buttons to work correctly.  If the buttons do not work try using the following keyboard commands
    • ctrl + c = copy
    • ctrl + v = paste
    • ctrl + x = cut

WYSIWYG Editor does not load

If your editor does not load and you only see HTML try refreshing your browser.

Table Error

Firefox

If a table is the last content on a page you may be unable to exit the table to continue adding content.  Please contact CMS Help Desk for assistance.

Collaborative Editing (Check-in/Check-out)

It is possible for multiple users to edit the same page at the same time unknowingly.  Whoever submits edits second will receive a warning message that another user has edited that page and the options are to overwrite those edits or create a draft. Please contact CMS Help Desk for assistance in manually locking pages.
