Images/Photos in the CMS
Generally, images need to be edited (resized or cropped) before they are uploaded to your site in the CMS and inserted into a web page.
Manually Resizing Images
These notes pertain to Office 2003 or 2007 on Windows XP.
- Open Microsoft Office Picture Manager. It is located in Start->Programs->Microsoft Office->Office Tools->Picture Manager.
- Keep in mind that 300 pixels wide is near the limit for an appropriate photo on a page, you can refer to other images and their size as you browse the Union site as examples by right-clicking on the image in your browser and choosing Properties.
