Union College Personal Safety Alert - Robbery
On Sunday night October 2, 2005, at approximately 11:30 pm, a robbery of a student occurred in the Fox-Davidson parking lot near Webster Hall. The student stated that while he was talking on his cell phone he was approached by three black males between 18 and 20 years of age. The males told him to shut off the phone and then demanded his money. One of the males grabbed the student by the shoulders and demanded the student's wallet. The student's wallet and cell phone were taken. The student was not injured during the incident. The suspects left the area on foot heading south on Seward Ave. The Schenectady Police were immediately called and checked the area for the suspects. No suspects were located at the time and the investigation of the matter will continue.
