Union College Personal Safety Alert
On Friday, Nov. 4, at about 1:30 a.m., two males and one female confronted two Union students at the corner of North Lane and Terrace Lane as the students were returning to their residences. One male demanded money and hit one of the students when he replied that he did not have money with him. The student was not seriously injured. After the second student activated a nearby blue phone, the suspects fled the scene toward Seward Place. A short time later, Campus Safety apprehended the suspects, who were identified by the students, and turned them over to Schenectady police.
