CAMPUS CRIME ALERT
Offense: Robbery
Date of Offense: September 30, 2008 approximately 9:40 P.M.
Location: Off Campus - Corner of Carrie Street and Nott Street (Mohawk Deli)
Subject Information: According to the victims, " three black males between the ages of 22 and 25, one subject described as chubby and wearing a green shirt; second subject described as skinny and wearing a brown hoodie; third subject described as skinny, no description of clothing".
Event description: Victims, two male students were approached as they left the Mohawk Delicatessen by the suspects who demanded their money. The Union students resisted the subjects. One Union student was slightly injured during the altercation. The suspects took the students wallets and cell phones and then fled north on Carrie Street. No weapons were displayed. The students then drove to the Sig Phi fraternity where they contacted the Campus Safety Department. Campus Safety Officers and Schenectady Police Officers immediately responded to the scene of the incident.
