Homophobic or sexual orientation harassment
This is harassment directed at persons or groups on the grounds of a perceived or actual sexual orientation (applying equally to homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual men or women).
"Sexual orientation" means heterosexual, lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender orientation, real or perceived. In terms of sexual orientation, harassment can occur because of an association with a gay or bisexual person (friend or relative, etc.).
