Kenney Community Center
The Ralph B. and Marjorie Kenney Center serves as Union College?s headquarters for community service and provides a home for all Union student volunteer efforts. The Center also offers education, health, and wellness workshops for the Schenectady and College Park communities.
Named in memory of Ralph Kenney, a 1929 Union graduate, the center was made possible by a $1 million gift from Marjorie Kenney of Delmar, with the understanding that the funds benefit both Union and the City of Schenectady. Fleet Financial Group has also given $35,000 to fund the center.
The Kenney Center is truly an outreach center, providing Union students with opportunities to mentor youth and volunteer in a variety of ways while also serving as a vibrant center for the College Park Neighborhood and Schenectady as a whole.
