Minerva Mentors

College can be academically overwhelming, so the Dean of Undergraduate Education Office and the Dean of Students Office have teamed up to sponsor Union's Minerva Mentor program. This is funded by a grant from the Mellon Foundation (with additional funding provided by the Reed Academic Success Fund). This is a continuation of the PALs (Peer Assistants for Learning) program begun last year. Each Minerva House has a Student Minerva Mentor whose goal is to help students succeed.

Student Minerva Mentors are Junior and Senior Union students who serve as an academic resource and referral service, as well as provide opportunities for improved success as a student. They hold office hours in their Minerva?s workroom and present on a variety of topics throughout the term.

The 2007-2008 Minerva Mentors are:
Beuth House: Lexy Giromini, Student Minerva Mentor
