Muslim Soup Kitchen Project

MSKP is an organization started by college students in Troy, NY. They have a soup kitchen event every month, where Muslim youth serve free food to the homeless and low-income people. For more information or to sign-up, visit their website at www.mskp.org.

Multifaith Council

The Muslim Students’ Association is also an active member of the Multifaith Council, which is a collection of several faith groups on campus.  As a group, we work together on projects such as Habitat for Humanity. We also try to work together and benefit the community at large by participating in a Crop Walk to aid the hungry, as well as a Fastathon, which encourages people to fast for the day so donations can be made to the Regional Food Bank. The MFC also provides an opportunity for the MSA to have discussions with and learn about other faiths on the Union College campus.
