Union College Ballroom Dance Club

History:
Ballroom Dance Club has been at Union for years now. We learn a variety of ballroom dance styles, both at the beginner and advanced level. Our instructor, Amber Woerner, is Arthur Murray trained and comes to Union once a week to give our club lessons.
Ballroom Dance Club hosts several dances throughout the year, as well as a Dance Marathon in the winter to raise money for charity. We also choreograph and perform several demos for Union College at various venues, such as at Taste of Union and the Minerva Ball. Our biggest performance, however, takes place at the Steinmetz Symposium every year, for which our professional instructor choreographs an advanced ballroom piece.
Our club is all about learning a great life skill and having fun, so come dance with us!
