Starting a new club?
Minimum Requirements for Clubs Proposals
In addition to submitting a Constitution, the following requirements must be met in order for any club proposal to be considered:
Require minimum of 4 signatures each from 3 different grades (for a total of 12) plus an additional 8 signatures from any grade for a total of 20 signatures. This is not to include seniors after Fall Term. Names, years, and College ID numbers are required for a signature to be considered valid.
The club must maintain 15 active members
Two (2) students from each of the 3 grades collected during the signature process, plus an additional 2 students for a total of 8 students, must attend the COC meeting considering the proposal.
Clubs wishing to participate in Club Sports need to demonstrate clear organization and commitment. This includes, but is not limited to, game schedules, practice schedules, coaches, insurance, and other actions. This is to demonstrate a commitment to the sport above and beyond simply funding a leisure activity.
At the end of the 10-week probationary period, significant activity and planning must have taken place to show continued commitment.
