Tom McEvoy is the Associate Dean of Students and the Director of Minerva Programs. In general, he has an open door policy at his office, Reamer Campus Center’s 303, and enjoys hearing from all students about how Union can help students better meet their needs outside the classroom. His primary responsibilities include chairing the Minerva Council, and working with faculty, students and other offices to develop this new initiative at Union, both administratively and programmatically. He also is in the process of initiating a new Fellowship Program on campus known as the Minerva Fellows Program.  With the help of Professors on campus he has helped arrange for 8 graduating seniors to travel to Third World Countries, where they will use their Union education to help better the world around them.He is an active member of UNITAS an increased in issues of diversity on the campus, as well as an LGBT Ally.Tom likes to eat and will happily take you to lunch to talk about issues of the day. Just ask him! He enjoys all outdoor sports, especially skiing and tennis, is a John Irving fan, and loves the sport of thoroughbred racing. Tom enjoys family life with his wife and three sons and their miniature schnauzer.
