Biochemistry

The Biochemistry Program at Union provides students with a solid foundation in the principles of chemistry and biology needed to understand life at the molecular level.

The program also prepares students for life after Union in a variety of fields, including:

  • Graduate work in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology.
  • Graduate work in medicine, dentistry and other allied health professions.
  • Laboratory research at foundations, in government, and at corporations in such fields as biomedicine and forensics.
  • A wide variety of other fields. The analytical skills developed by biochemistry majors have brought them success in areas such as law and financial services.

Questions about the Biochemistry Program should be directed to Professor Kristin M. Fox (foxk@union.edu).
