Introductory Chemistry Instrumentation Lab

The Introductory Chemistry Instrumentation Lab is part of a suite of rooms that are used mainly for teaching the General Chemistry courses (CHM 10,12, and 13) which introduce students to Chemistry at the college level. This suite contains two computer-containing lecture rooms, two laboratories and the shared Instrumentation Lab.

The major pieces of equipment in the Instrumentation Lab are as follows:

Gas Chromatographs (2) [Hewlett-Packard 5890]

Diode Array UV/VIS Spectrophotometers (2) [Hewlett-Packard 8452A]

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometers (2) [Perkin-Elmer]
