Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering
204 Steinmetz Hall
Yes, I did go to college:
B.S. (1961), Electrical Engineering, Cheng Kung University (Taiwan)
M.S. (1971), Electrical Engineering, University of Wisconsin at Madison
Ph.D. (1974), Electrical Engineering, Syracuse University
Electric circuits, fundamentals of wireless electronics, basic electromagnetics (with the method of moments), introductory antenna theory, circuits and systems, analog communications.
Things I am interested in, but still don't quite understand:
Circuits and systems, antennas, applied electromagnetics, method of moments, microwave filters and matching networks, ......this is meant to be a short list...
What do I do when I am not playing with circuits and Maxwell's equations?
I feed my fish.
I talk to my plants.
I take photographs.
I do haiku, renku, tanka, and haibun.
