The Geology Program has a strong focus on field science. The summer of 2009 had 2 geologically based mini terms, "Living on the Edge" in Alaska and "Global Climate Change" in Peru. In the fall of 2009 a term Abroad to Australia and New Zealand is offered as a joint program between Union and Hobart/William Smith Colleges.
