Classroom Activities
Teachers who want to use hands-on science activities as part of a classroom presentation or others who want to use hands-on science activities in different contexts seek the activities in various ways. If they saw us present the activities in a classroom or workshop or heard about the activity from someone else, they will probably seek the activity by name, and an alphabetical listing of activities by names will be most useful. If they are instead seeking activities that fit with certain topics or concepts, an alphabetical listing by concepts showing appropriate activities will be most useful. Finally, if they are simply looking for activities that are appropriate for a particular grade level independent of concepts, a listing of appropriate activities for each grade level will be most useful. All three of these listings are provided and are linked to the activities so that you can find them easily. In addition, several CHALLENGES are provided for which there are only minimal instructions and no explanations. You can contact us by email to check your method of meeting the challenge and for explanation.
