Title of Political Science Honors Thesis: "The Permeability of German Identity: The Turkish Minority as In-Between"

Statement: "The German program at Union is fantastic.  I became engaged in the German language and culture in a way that I did not anticipate.  After going on Union mini-terms abroad to Argentina and Jamaica, I found myself packing for a spring term abroad in Freiburg and Berlin.  My academic career even culminated in a political science senior thesis which focused on immigration in Germany."
