Statement: "The Spanish language has been a passion of mine since I began taking classes in middle school. My trip to Seville, Spain in the winter of 2010 only solidified my intentions to continue with the language. I hope to live abroad for some time after graduate school in order to increase my knowledge of and fluency in Spanish before becoming a Spanish teacher."
