Statement: “I am really honored to be the recipient of the Ronald K. Amiraian (1980) Memorial Prize this year. I have always loved learning Spanish, and studying abroad in Spain this past winter (2012) was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I believe that the best way to learn another language is to live in a foreign country and be fully immersed in the language and culture, and I really hope to live/work in a Spanish-speaking country after college to continue my Spanish studies."
