Statement: "For me, becoming immersed in the Spanish language has meant a greater access to a people and a culture that would have otherwise remained untapped. Now, staying connected, both while in the United States and by traveling abroad, is a lifelong commitment. I hope to involve the Spanish language and culture in whichever professions I choose to pursue."
