Title of senior project/thesis:
English Thesis: "Enchanted Reflections: Transforming Through Beauty and the Beast's Looking Glass"
French Thesis: "Un Service Public, Une Lutte Privée; La Voix Subversive d'un Conteur Canonisé"

Statement: "Learning another language has opened up a world of possibilities to me.  I feel more connected to the international community and I have a stronger sense of my identity as an American.  My abroad experiences have helped me become more independent, and I hope to have many more abroad experiences in the future to complete my cross-cultural education.  I am planning to become certified to teach French at the high school level and may at some point consider a comparative literature degree."
