Statement: "Studying the French language and culture has been extraordinary; it has opened my eyes to the different ways in which people view the world and given me a more objective perspective on life. Studying abroad not only cemented these thoughts into my ideology, but it also gave me the confidence in myself that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to and taught me that no matter where I go, I will always be able to find people with whom I have things in common: people that I can call my family. This thought provides me comfort in moments of apprehension, and I am so thankful for the experiences that I've had, the beautiful places I've seen, and the wonderful people that I've met."
