Statement: "Earning this recognition means a great deal; the study of languages is something that I truly enjoy and would continue to do so even in anonymity, but it is always nice to be recognized for one's efforts. I find language study very intriguing; it teaches me knew ways to express myself while simultaneously exposing the integral aspects of a foreign culture. In the "real world" I plan to be very connected with my studies of Arabic and Spanish, as I hopefully will become an interpreter."
