Your First Language Course at Union:
Please contact the department to schedule an appointment.

The Registrar's will not pre-register you without a permission slip from our department so you need to contact us well in advance of your pre-registration appointment at the Registrar's.

In order to (pre-)register for any MLL language course at Union you must first: 1) have taken the pre-requisite (if there is one) or
2) see a faculty advisor in the specific language for placement information.

In Spanish, a faculty advising sign up sheet is located on the desk in HU213.  For all other languages - see the Faculty Office Hours listing in HU213 for times when a professor is available for your particular language.

* DO not sign up for the 100 level if you have any high school experience with the language. You must see a MLL advisor first.

Important:
In most of the language tracks, students can only start the sequence (100 & 200 levels) in the Fall term.  Don't let the opportunity to learn a language (and open the door to diverse professional possibilities) go by.

If you have any questions, please contact us.
