Union College’s Zeta Upsilon chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha hosted The Pi Sigma Alpha Undergraduate Journal of Politics from Fall 2007 through Spring 2010. The host is now the College of William and Mary. The Journal is sponsored by Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.

The Journal welcomes submissions from undergraduates of any class or major; submissions from Pi Sigma Alpha members are especially encouraged. The Journal publishes manuscripts of the highest quality in all areas of political science. In general, papers selected for publication have been well-written with a well-developed thesis, compelling argument, and original analysis. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts before they are accepted for publication.

Two issues of the Journal are published every year (in the Spring and in the Fall). The deadline for submitting manuscripts for Fall 2010 is September 30, 2010. Any manuscripts received after the deadline will be considered for the next issue of the Journal.

To submit your work, please email it (as a Word document) to psajournal@wm.edu. Please include your name, university, and contact details (mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number). Submitted manuscripts should include a short abstract (roughly 150 words), and citations and references should follow the APSA Style Manual for Political Science. The maximum page length for submitted manuscripts is 35 pages.
