If you would like to have an event sponsored by your Minerva House, please complete the following form. It will be submitted to your House Council for review, and they will contact you as soon as they have voted on it.
Please refrain from finalizing your event until you heard back from your House Council with approval.
If you are requesting funding as well, remember that Union College is tax exempt; therefore, we can not reimburse for tax. If you are planning on purchasing items from somewhere other than on campus, you will need to contact the Minerva Programs Office (x8790) for a tax exempt form.
Remember: Minerva money should be used to promote the life of the House and its contribution to the campus culture, not to benefit specific House members.
Minerva money should be used to create new social, intellectual and cultural options. Minerva budgets should not be used as a supplemental funding source for activities normally offered by other departments, offices or student organizations.
Minerva Houses may not make charitable contributions. They may, however, provide funds to support events in which students contribute their time and/or effort toward charitable services.
