The weather plan that will be followed will be decided on the morning of Commencement. Call (518) 388-8373 or check the commencement weather decision page. Key locations and instructions for graduates and faculty about where to assemble are available for each weather plan.
9:00 a.m.
Graduates and faculty assemble for the academic procession.
9:30 a.m.
The academic procession begins, led by the Steinmetz car.
In fair weather,Commencement exercises will be held in Hull Plaza which is located in front of Schaffer Library. Immediately after the Ceremony, representatives of the College's academic departments will host a reception in Library Field where the diplomas will be distributed to the graduates. For locations and plans related to moderate or heavy rain, please refer to the appropriate weather plan.
