Alumni Convocation
A congratulatory gathering to award the Faculty Meritorious Award, class parade trophies, and class gifts. The ceremony closes with the Senior Handshake, a symbol of Union camaraderie in which the 50th ReUnion Class welcomes the Class of 2013 into the alumni body. Convocation is immediately followed by a chimes concert.

Watch the building of a replica of the Nott Memorial made out of water bottles collected on campus. Minerva Fellow Shalini Singaravelu ’12 recently returned from a one-year volunteer placement with the Gift of Hope in Durban, South Africa. This weekend she will be selling unique handcrafted items from Africa to support Project STAR at South Africa’s Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust, a holistic program for children living with HIV/AIDS. Benzo is the thesis project of OTM film students Emma Freter and Jeffrey Moreno, the first senior project of its kind at Union. As their thesis project, these seniors have co-directed, wrote and produced this psychological thriller.
