FT2008 - Abstract Submission

Abstract submission will be via e-mail. Please read over the abstract formatting guidelines before submitting your abstract.

Please submit abstracts to:

ft2008@union.edu & garverj@union.edu

Formatting Guidelines:

We will be putting together a volume of extended abstracts for the meeting
that will be spiral bound, and available after the meeting for nearly
publication cost. We plan on it having an ISBN number, and it will be
published by Union College. Note that a certain amount of editing will go on
here at Union to produce the final volume. Here are the general
specifications that we would like for submissions:

File Format: Mircosoft Word Document (please no docx files. If you are
using the latest version of Word, save it down to a pre-2007 format).

Margins: Left 1.5 inches, Right 1 inch

Heading Text: Centered 12 pt. bold Times New Roman with one space between
text above and below.

Authors names and affiliations: (contact address, and email address
required). Left justified, 12 pt. bold Times New Roman with one space
between text above and below.

Subheading text: 10 pt. bold Times New Roman

Body Text: 10 pt. Times New Roman single spaced (one column only).

Figures & Pictures: Please include figures and pictures within the text as
high resolution JPG or GIF format. We can accommodate color figures, but
please only use color if is is necessary as this will increase the total
cost of the publication. Insert your figures into the text so that they are
"in line with text". All figures must have a figure caption.

Length: These Extended Abstracts should be no more than 4 pages in length,
which includes all placed figures, and all references.

Note that we will do all final formatting here during the summer, so what
you submit to us will be reformatted slightly, and edited for clarity, if
needed.

Submit by email to Matt Montario (ft2008@union.edu) and Copy Garver (garverj@union.edu) on that same email. You will receive confirmation after submittal.
