Portrait of Chester Alan Arthur

Chester Arthur graduated from Union College in 1848, and we are very
pleased and proud to celebrate his presidency and the style with which
he held that office.  The exhibition will focus on what has come to be
Arthur's most famous legacy: his style and taste.  We will be looking, for
example, at his work with Louis Comfort Tiffany on the White House, as well
as his taste in clothes, carriages, food, etc.
