Did you know there
are currently 2,133 undergraduate students at Union College?
From now until June 30, when the amount of Union donors equals the amount of students in each undergraduate class, a $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to a member of that class, during the '13–'14 academic year.
| Class: | Donors |
Goal |
|---|---|---|
| First Year | 438 | 606 |
| Sophomore | 0 | 554 |
| Junior | 0 | 516 |
| Senior | 0 | 457 |
Dear Union College community member,
I really cannot express enough just how appreciative I am to receive a Scholarship to attend Union College. Without it, I most definitely would not be here experiencing the best four years of my life.
Every moment at Union is a moment I will never forget. I’ve been able to pursue both my academic and athletic passions- majoring in mechanical engineering while also playing Division I ice hockey. The Union hockey community is amazing, from the players to the many supporters and fans. Similarly, the mechanical engineering department provides one of the best educations in the Nation.
I was fortunate enough to not only obtain a summer assistant research position at Union, but also present the research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I hope you will consider participating in the Every Student Counts challenge because all donors to the Annual Fund are ambassadors of giving back. I truly hope that one day I will be able to provide another student with the opportunity I have had here at Union.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
