Directions for receiving funding alerts from the NSF Custom News Service:

1)   Go to http://www.nsf.gov/home/cns/index.cfm

2)        Fill out your Internet e-mail address for New Users

3)        Click subscribe to CNS

4)        Fill out user information, preferences and subscription selections. For subscription selections" I recommend you go directly to "advanced subscription selection form" and make your choices there since it includes a few choices not found on the regular subscription selection page. Select documents either "By type" or "By area of Science" or you can do it both ways. Either way, by clicking on the underlined hyperlinks on the left you will bring up boxes to check off on the right. If you select documents "By type" you will have the additional choice of selecting "NSF-wide" announcements by clicking on "Program Announcements & Information" and "Policies and Procedures". Click on "Done" to save your choices. On the next screen at the bottom click "save profile". It is possible to go in at any time and modify your profile or unsubscribe.

Directions for subscribing to a listserv for the table of contents from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts:

1)    Go to http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/listserv.htm and follow the directions to subscribe.
