Union, The Arts and Henle

Union’s strategic investment in the arts can be seen in its emerging arts complex which is comprised of the Visual Arts Building, the Taylor Music Center, the Yulman Theater and the soon-to-be-constructed Henle Dance Pavilion. It is in these settings that students, faculty and visitors representing all artistic disciplines intermingle, imagine, create and collaborate. The possibilities for artistic expression are limitless.

To fully support the dance program’s contributions to the curriculum and to the community, Union College is pleased to announce the construction of the Henle Dance Pavilion. Adjoining the Yulman Theater and overlooking Jackson’s Garden, one of the most prized spaces on campus, the Dance Pavilion not only will provide an appropriate home for our thriving dance program but also will complete our vision for the campus’s vibrant arts complex by revitalizing a currently underutilized courtyard and creating an “arts town square” among the four buildings within the complex.
