The campus community can sample free fare from a number of Schenectady eateries during the annual “Fall for Schenectady” Thursday, Oct. 6.
From 5 to 7 p.m., each restaurant will offer its fare in one of the seven Minerva Houses. Participating restaurants include Aperitivo Bistro, The City Squire, Cafe Nola,
More Perreca’s, Homestyle Catering, Mr. Wasabi and Taj Mahal. Also, dessert prepared by Villa Italia will be available in the gardens at the President’s House.
The event is sponsored by the Minerva Houses, Union-Schenectady Alliance, Orientation Program and President’s Office.
“This is another way for students and staff to see what area restaurants have to offer,” said Randy Miller ’12.
To encourage people to visit each Minerva, diners can get a special “passport” stamped as they travel between houses, with prizes being offered.
