This week's Kenney Community Center's Volunteer of the Week is Jacob Persily '16.
A volunteer for causes such as the Better Together Campaign and Campus Kitchens, Persily also spends his time working with UCEMS.
He is also a member of the Kenney Center's Student Volunteer Committee.
During pre-orientation, he also participated in the Community Experience Program, spending his first three days learning about Schenectady and volunteering locally.
Originally from Marlboro, N.J., he is a biology and theater interdepartmental major in the Leadership in Medicine program. He is also a member of the Nott Noisemakers pep band, U-Program and Hillel.
