What is RSS?
It's not just e-mail.
RSS, Really Simple Syndication, is a file format that allows visitors to access a Web content without constantly visiting the site. RSS "feeds" are essentially headlines and brief summaries with links to the full text.
RSS content is downloaded once so the possibility exists that events have been canceled or modified on the Calendar and the RSS event message remains in your reader.
For 2-way communication consider using an internet calendar subscription in a program like Outlook 2007 or Google Calendar.
How do I "subscribe" to these feeds?
RSS feeds can be added to your browser as well as Outlook 2007 and various programs called "Feed Readers."
